Beautiful Sunday

I got up very early this morning because I had to work out in the park near my house. After I had completed my five-round-walking on the running track, I went straight home, took a bath, and waited by my mini garden at home for a cup of coffee served to me by my nice niece. This was such a wonderful time. Why? There were many reasons. Firstly, I had more time to spend with my family on this relaxing day. After my coffee, we had local breakfast together and talked to each other about the food. This topic was our favorite one. Secondly, I could share some details about plants, houses, and birds with my neighbors. This was the time to build the stronger relationship with them. One says neighbors are the best fences of your house. Thirdly, I could do something for myself like reading, watching TV, and going shopping. It was the reward that I should get. Finally, I spent a lot of my spare time cooking my delicious and healthy dinner. All the reasons mentioned above made me so happy on my beautiful Sunday. I think that everybody wants to have a wonderful time in his life. The key is “Just find the time for your own private Sunday, relax, and do what you really want to.

Walking for Health

If ones think that walking is the action of moving from one place to another place, they underestimate the advantages of walking. I learnt from a TV program that walking 10,000 steps a day improves your health. At first, I did not pay any attention to it because I just focused on entertainment. One year later, I realized that I gained a lot of weight. Moreover, I could not climb stairs at school. The reason was my knees hurt me. I tried to lose my weight, but I was easily quitted by my delicious food attempted me. I thought that I need something to help me have self-discipline. A pedometer was my answer so my niece, Kes, and I worked very hard by researching from internets in order to know where I could buy one. The other niece, Laddy, and her boyfriend, Alex, knew that I wanted it. They surprised me by buying me a white lovely pedometer as a birthday present last May. Thank you for a million times. I started my 10,000 steps-a-day walking program as soon as I got it. Now I enjoy it every day because I have my goal to reach each day. As the result, I can walk practically and climb stairs easily. Furthermore, I lose my weight and keep fit. I am so happy to have my new life since I do not like to sit on my chair all day. I prefer going out to walk in a park or in a fitness center. The pictures above show the park where I go to walk in every day. It is worth doing.

Thai Beliefs

I have some foreign teachers working for my school. We always share our ideas about Thai cultures and beliefs with one another. Surprisingly, some of them do not know much about our beliefs. The others had never heard about them in their lives. Thus I told them what I was told by my ancestors. Since they are different from the regions of Thailand, I know only the general beliefs of the central part of the country. In my opinion, they are very interesting because they are the beliefs that the foreigners have a lot of questions to discuss with me. Do I believe all of them? I cannot say “Yes” because I believe what I should believe. The world changes, yet I don’t know if anyone believe all of them. Here are the samples of the beliefs.

1. Never sweep the floor at night because you sweep good luck away.
2. Don’t sing while you are cooking because you will have an old spouse.
3. Don’t have your hair cut on Wednesday because you will have bad luck.
4. Don’t smell flowers you are going to offer to a monk or a Buddha statue because you will have bad luck.
5. Put your tongue out when you face a person who has got Pink Eye because you will not have the eye infection like him.
6. Bend down and look between your two legs, if you want to see a ghost.
7. When you see an infant, say “You look ugly” to it. The reason why Thai people do like this because a ghost will take it away from its parents when you say “You are cute” to the infant.
8. A dead body turns up alive when a black cat jumps across the coffin where the body is in.

The Endless Road

Life is a long journey. No one knows the end of the road; however, everybody keeps walking, running, or standing still without realizing the reasons why. Someone has willingly traveled on the same route since he was young and prefers following the familiar track. This kind of person doesn’t want to take a risk and has the idea that he desires to play safe in his life. The other person has changed his pathway whenever he has an opportunity. Nothing can put him under pressure. It seems that seeing and learning something new make his life exciting. He has an idea that doing the same thing is boring.Undoubtedly, he never refuses to get novel experiences. For me, I change my way of life when it is the right time. I listen to my heart, and I use my intuition to make the crucial decision. Everything has its own reason, so I can confidently walk through every road. Although the one I choose is not carpeted, I continue strolling. I am not in a hurry since there is still the long trail that no one knows the end of it. Like other people, I cannot walk across the finish line, or even see it until I lose my last breath in my lung.

My Students in Sakaew Province

Making something different is one of my duties. I am always invited to teach higher level students once a year in Wangnumyenwitthayakom School in Sakaew province. I hardly say no to the teacher who chooses me to teach her students although it is very far from Bangkok. I can say that I am willing to do so because I am very happy to see their smiling faces when I teach them. I can fill the educational gap between the remote area and the big city. They don’t need to move to Bangkok to study. On the other hand, I move to run my class for them. They save their money, time and energy. Moreover, they learn something new from me on their free time. There is no student left behind. Thanks Ms.Sudjai Rungruang who launches the excellent project for her students every year.
After teaching them many generations, I notice that their behaviors are unique. They are eager to learn and get new knowledge. Some students can do it very well. I think they know who they are and what they are going to do in the future. Consequently, they pay a lot of attention without talking to each other while I am teaching. They concentrate on listening and answering my questions. I absolutely enjoy my class, and I am not tired whenever I teach them. I love them and want to help them as possible as I can do for them.

Scout Promise

One of our school activities in which we must participate once a year is to recite the scout promise. We always do it on 1st July. Before The troop of our scout promise, we will stand still and make the three-fingered Scout Sign. Then we state the following statement when we recite the promise.
On my honor I promise
that I will be loyal to the Nation,
the Religion and the King;
help other people at all times;
and obey the Scout Law.
After that we march and take some pictures as our memory with our director, deputy directors and colleagues. I think these cool pictures show our teamwork. It is the strong point.

Whenever I thoroughly look at them, I can find details in every single photograph. Nowadays there are a lot of photographers who can take magnificent pictures, especially the experts who submit their remarkable pictures to National Geographic Society. Three-Dimensional Paintings on Streets

3d Street Art or 3d chalk art is an artwork painted on streets. The artists use streets as their canvases. It gives street passerby a 3-dimensional perfect illusion. The amazing paintings have been created in order to show their ideas, stories and emotions through masterpieces. They really work because they completely attract people’s attention all over the world. However, all of the fabulous drawings show a three-dimensional perspective just at the right angle. Thus, viewers are to be sure that they are on the right spot. Some artists expand their drawing concepts by painting their artworks in offices.

A Folpping Dog

I saw a lovely clip posted by the Corgi's owner. That was the impressive moment. I love seeing this cute dog flopping and paddling. I can say that his jumps are so funny. Its hind feet are so short that they almost touch the dock. I like the way his owner wearing him a life vest and using the slow motion technique while her Corgi is jumping in the water. I hope that it can jump farther in the future.

Where the Squirrel Can Be

I am a kind of animal lover, so pictures and videos of them are what I cannot miss whenever I surf websites . I found a picture of a couple with a lovely squirrel in the National Geographic Photo Gallery. I researched more details in order to know what happened in the scene. Then, I learned that Melissa Brandts and her husband were posting to take a snapshot by using a self timer at Lake Minnewanka in Banff National Park, Canada. Unexpectedly, a squirrel appeared in front of their camera and its focus was on the uninvited guest. Both of them couldn’t stand laughing and this picture became very popular.It appears all over the websites.
